Accelcia Business Services, Inc. and Plug and Play Tech Center Announce Strategic Partnership

Atherton, CA, and Sunnyvale, CA—May 18, 2012— Accelcia Business Services, Inc. and Plug and Play Tech Center today announced that they have forged a strategic partnership in order to better serve the start-up community in Silicon Valley. Under the partnership, Accelcia, a leading provider of back-office services such as bookkeeping, accounting, HR, and benefits to startups, will be integrated into the Plug and Play community as an onsite service provider. The alliance gives Accelcia the opportunity to expand its presence in the critical business incubator sector of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, while allowing Plug and Play’s startups to focus on their core business.

This marks the company’s first formal partnership with a business accelerator.

According to the terms of the proposed partnership, Accelcia will be afforded a branded presence at Plug and Play as well as access to internal meetings and events, which will in turn enable Accelcia to reach a considerable network of technology startups across all three Plug and Play locations. In addition, Accelcia will have physical presence in the Service Pavilion.

Anurag Pal Named CEO and President of Accelcia Business Services, Inc

March 6, 2012 - Atherton, CA: Accelcia Business Services, Inc. announced today the appointment of Anurag Pal as CEO and President, effective immediately. Mr. Pal assumes CEO duties from Ruby Sahiwal, who remains Chairman of the company.

"As CEO and President, my goals are to liberate entrepreneurs from the drudgery of back-office work and to make Accelcia the preferred provider for all back-office needs for small to medium businesses," said Mr. Pal.

In his new role, Mr. Pal aims to double the number of the company’s customers each year, to widen its focus to include partnerships with incubators, banks, VCs, CPAs, law firms and other providers supporting start-up businesses. "We want to be the name everyone thinks of when seeking a solution to any back-office challenge. You will see us become an integral part of the start-ups ecosystem," he elaborated.

Mr. Pal boasts an extensive background in Operations, Finance, and Sales and Marketing. His previous employment experience includes positions at Hewlett-Packard, Datasweep, BizGenics, and Simpacta. During his time at Hewlett-Packard, Mr. Pal was instrumental in launching the company’s first B2B e-commerce venture, and was credited with managing all outsourced relationships as well as a $200 million P&L. He has also led worldwide presales, sales, and business development teams at Datasweep and BizGenics.

In addition to his corporate experience, Mr. Pal is a seasoned entrepreneur. The idea behind Accelcia originated from his first-hand knowledge and in-depth strategic and operational roles at many start-up businesses with varying back-office challenges. Accelcia Announces the Launch of its “Virtual Controller” Practice
Strong response from clients accelerates expansion

Atherton, September 7, 2011: Accelcia Business Services announced the launch of a “Virtual Controller” Practice with several controllers deployed at its clients. “We are an early stage company where substantially all of our resources are focused on product development and expanding our customer footprint," said Ed Baker, CEO of Friend.ly, one of Accelcia's launch customers. "Yet our business needs are complex, so we need top-notch talent and expertise across multiple finance disciplines.
